"And now for something completely different..." from my usual, anyway. The only instrument I played was my mouse! Even though it actually would have been easier to use a keyboard controller, I tried to use nothing but samples, and then some MIDI notes made with my mouse. Mouse made, cooked in Pro Tools. This whole song was just an excuse to play around with non-Sticky sub-bass.

A mix of ambient tracks, atmospheric keyboard pads, sub-bass riffs, and club beats, to make "Love U Like I l Love Me." Vocals (me!) coming soon! Maybe a wee bit repetitive without vocals.

I have a Fractal Animation 360° Video that sycs up with this, coming later.

My daughter (age 14) gave me some constructive criticism and I moved some piano notes onto the beat instead of being syncopated. There were four places she didn't like, and I agreed on 3 out of the 4 to move them. She didn't care that they were deliberately placed where they were--"some piano notes are off." Okay then. If it sounds like bad timing instead of cool syncopation, then the listener is right. This is her genre of music, not mine.

I'm not sure who my audience for this is. The vocals to this--when I'm in my car--are freaking off the hook. Which is easy to claim but the proof is in the tracks. Man, I've got to get a process for vocals down. :x

I keep wanting to add Sticks to this, but there's really no need. Maybe after vocals get added. Honestly, I was writing background music for fractal videos more than trying to write songs. I keep adding tracks and then pruning them back. Put your stupid vocals on here and then see if it needs anything else, Steve!

I used to do music like this all the time--back in the 90s! Then I got better as a musician and started playing instruments instead of playing samples. But it's fun! Cheers!

Ah, and then there was Jayesskerr! Hello there! Just trying something different for a change. Thanks so much, Scott! For about two minutes, I was gonna see if you wanted to get some guitar on here, but then decided it should be a "song" and I should sing on it. I keep saying that and need to deliver!

Dude, it's solid. I am thinking though that instead of 'adding" stick work to this, you simply replace all of the parts with Stick... Could be super interesting and maybe the beginning of a unique process...

Again, very cool tune!
