If you want to see a fantastic Zendrum player locally, check out Ken Kozora who works at Oz's. I went to one of his concerts in A2 a few years ago. He also uses a MIDIfied drum kit with no bass drum, but rather a kick-pedal on a Djembe mounted sideways with a trigger on it.

I would if I could but living in MA would make it difficult lol! Thanks for the heads up, does he have anything posted on YouTube, or the zendrum Face book page? I always enjoy listening and watching how other players set up their Zendrums. The possibilities are endless, everbody does it differently. I've changed my own set up at least a half dozen times, it gets closer to what I want every time.
Thanks!

Somewhere I might have a video of him buried when he performed with Glenn Poorman And Steve Osborn in 2007. I did find this video, lately he seems to be using more of the Roland electronic hand rum, as you can see the Zendrum off to his left:

May as well toss my contribution into this thread. A couple weeks ago I received my carbon fiber acoustic doubleneck guitar from Emerald Guitars in Ireland. Not something you see everyday. According to their website, the instrument was inspired by Richie Sambora who asked Alistair Hay if he could build an acoustic doubleneck that actually works well. Apparently there's not a lot of good ones to choose from. The instrument is not custom either, it is a standard production model they make. Fantastic instrument, a week after I got it I gave it a trial by fire at a benefit open mic that Stickist Steve Osborn owner of Oz's Music put on.

Here's the gallery featuring mostly pics they sent me before shipping, then i took a few as well:

Steve, that new green doubleneck guitar looks so incredibly awesome! Do you have any footage of it yet you could share? I'd love to see those 18 strings in action!

The last pic in that gallery is a video. Was testing a ne Rode camera mic. The video is crap but the sound is pretty good

Oh, I didn't notice the last pic was a video. Nice! Okay, I see and hear now what this thing's like.

But now I have questions: where and what are the pickups? I didn't see anything obvious that looked like pickups. Maybe they're internal?

Thanks, Steve!

Got the new LR Baggs I-beam upgrade. A two pickup system under and in the bridge. Not exactly sure how it's configured, but the twelve I believe has the bridge and the six may have both the pickup and I beam. The mix knob balances the necks. The control box has an extra switch that's not in the instructions.
