Re: New beer discoveries...
By the way, Gene, I'd rather drink PBR from a can than that skunky Heineken shit any day of the week.
Solidarity, brother.

Re: New beer discoveries...
Well, I really like beer in a glass. And with friends. Yeah, those are my only prerequisites so consider it shown! You guys have rattled a lot of really great beers, but I also like light Mexican beers, which Adelson gave me a hard time about, hehe. You kinda grow up with that around here, so Corona, Tecate (in a can fknA) and Negra Modelo are all okay with me. I used to play quite frequently at the tasting room down in San Diego at Ballast Point (we just showed up with our gear). Things changed at Ballast Point, just like the did with Lagunitas. Both were purchased. Which doesn't really change anything for me, cause I like beer and I really like those two in particular. I guess Constellation and Heineken saw a lot of their revenue slipping because of these smaller, successfully run craft breweries. I am pretty certain the same happened to Blue Moon with Miller Coors. Little companies have the time and love to invest in something they know other people will enjoy. If anything it opens my eyes to new opportunities to try new beers with new friends. There are going to be a lot of beers in this thread, and I expect I am going to have to try them all! One of my best friend's girlfriend works at Stone. I help her get rid of the beer that she has to collect from local stores out here that have expired. Someone's got to do it...

Re: New beer discoveries...
I like Stone's "Enjoy By" beers. Great idea. Fresh beer, imagine that.
Both Stone and Green Flash relocated/expanded to VA. The Norfolk/VA Beach area is booming for breweries right now. Norfolk either turned down Stone or vice versa. They are headed for Richmond. Green Flash from San Diego has expanded into VB. Probably a good fit. Lots of hipster goobs ready to stand in line to buy expensive IPAs there.
Thanks for the beer, Greg. Right on time.

Re: New beer discoveries...
Sage I will check out your recommendation... Randy, I'm sad to say I can't drink IPAs without getting a headache (hophead?)
Gene, Hops for Hopper! I love that scene...
