First Public Looping Experiment - Ditto X2
For years I have been intrigued by the concept of looping. I have owned and returned several loopers finding them too complex for my needs. I recently picked up a TC Electronic Ditto X2 and I thing I have found the looper that fits me best. Here is my first public experiment, warts and all.
I ran each side of the stick into a POD HD500X and used the effects loop for the Ditto X2. Since the DItto X2 is stereo, I used one channel for a Korg Wavedrum which provides the percussion. I need longer cables for the DItto X2 - I accidentally shut off the Pod midway through when I stepped on the pedal!

Thanks for watching!

Re: First Public Looping Experiment - Ditto X2
Another nice composition, Jeremy.
I've recently put together a small(er), battery-powered pedal board. On it, I added 2 of the Ditto X2s. I'm still in the experimental phase, but I hope that I will be able to create A/B sections and build on both throughout a composition. Would have liked to have given Pigtronix Infinity Looper a go for this, but it's not battery-powered.
Again, great piece.

Thanks for the kind words! Two Dittos sounds very interesting. Since there is a built in looper in the POD, in theiry I could try something similar. I wonder if there would be any sync issues.

@jacubert, as always, great to hear your stuff…. I just picked up the latest Roland Handsonic and am integrating it into my rig. The POD Hd500 in fact does have a nice looper in it. I am able to run the Handsonic into it as well.

@rclere - Thanks! The Pod looper is fine but provides 48 seconds of looping. I was looking for something with longer looping time and the ability to off load loops to the computer. Inspired by folks here, I have experimented with using both loopers so I can set up A and B parts.
