My biggest fan
You would expect me to say my wife. But right now, another girl is loving me and my Stick playing. Attachment: IMG_2050b (429x600).jpg That's Bean, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who's boarding with us this weekend. She's all about Uncle Luc! (Sorry about the bad Photoshopping on my leg. Had to do SOMETHING with the bright sunlight beams shining way too brightly on it.)

Re: My biggest fan
If that is a Tama HT741, our playing positions are going to look very similar (apart from scale).

Re: My biggest fan
Actually it's a 10-year-old Roc 'n' Soc throne ("tractor" style seat). It has seen better days, but has held up nicely for such an "old" throne.

Re: My biggest fan
That took me a sec...
Man, Jack Russell's are such a fun loving breed. My wife has gone on record stating that I could get one when I retire.

Captain Strings wrote: Lap Dawg sighting That was really clever, Mike. Bravo! And I am LOVING my Lap Dawg. I got it and did initial installation Friday, and yesterday I got all the adjustments set on it. It took me longer than it typically should because I have a flat belt hook pedestal, which presented one or two small challenges (I swear, NOTHING can be easy with me! LOL I fully admit that I create my own challenges sometimes.) After one pause in yesterday's practice session, I sat back down to play, and ended up playing about 10 minutes before I realized that I was playing without the shoulder strap. That was a cool moment. Now I see why Gene didn't use a shoulder strap for his set during the Stick night concert at FHA. Mike, it's absolutely brilliant.

Re: My biggest fan
I had a Jack once, but got rid of him after I caught it hanging on for dear life, biting onto a horse's tail... literally flying horizontally as my horse, Kiwi, raced across the pasture trying to rid itself of the demon-dog, which was snarling with it's jaws locked shut on the beast's tail hair.
After that fiasco, the dilemma was either to sell it or kill it. Worst farm dogs ever.

Re: My biggest fan
LOL! Just got an image of that. I suppose the competing urges might also have been to laugh hysterically or scream in anger. Yeah, JRT's are good at helping keep vermin under control, but their Terrier attitude can get them into trouble around other animals.
