Post Stick meditation part I
Hi,

Last week, I had a practical exam where I had to give a self written meditation. I got an unbelievable good grade for it ! Totally inspired by that, I recorded this piece, meant to relax or do a short meditation on. Few mistakes here and there, but good enough for me.
Enjoy :-)
Part I ?? I'm pretty sure this won't be the last piece in this genre I record :-)

I'm curious about your feedback !
Cheers,
Bas.

Bas,
This was absolutely gorgeous! The chords ebbed and flowed in a very consistent manner ( which is what you need for a base familiarity) yet added changes and newness right around each corner. I started my "OM" and alpha waves here I come!

If I was grading this, I too would have given you an A+, extra bonus points and a certificate for a large pizza with as many toppings as you'd like!

Was this a compositional piece or freeform with some idea of where you'd like to go? Art comes in many shapes sizes and orgins. If it was compositional, please share some of the great polytonal chords that you were using.

Really really great post! should come with patchouli incense! :D

AAaaaaahhhhhhhhh......
Dat was genoeglijk !! (God, I hope Google Translate is correct...)
Mistakes? Where? I thought I heard one or two things that you might be calling mistakes, but the listener either will not notice, or won't think that they are mistakes. I didn't think they were.
I love the reverb/delay effects that you have on this piece. Did I hear either a subtle synth in the background, or is that a part of the effects patch that you used? My brain wanted to hear some Fripp/Eno ambient wave sounds, but that could just be my brain trying to relate this piece to something else it heard before that it also loved.
After reading Dave's comments, I have no idea what HE thinks of it ;) , but I LOVE IT!!
Bravo, sir.

Very nice. Love the scintillating delays giving the piece a sparkly sense. Your tone is really nice as well.
