My first stick EP is available for download!
Hello fellow stickist! I've just released my first chapman stick EP! I'm really proud of the outcome, and if you could spare a listen, maybe even a download, I'd really appreciate any feedback you have! http://johntylerkent.bandcamp.com/album/digits

I just sampled the first minute of Kingspeak, and I liked what I heard. I will give the full EP a listen soon.

JTK, you've got the chops, the production chops, recording, orchestrating and thru it all, the essential Stick chops. Many thanks for your exceptional Stick musical conception, which I feel ranks with the likes of Michael Bernier and his multi-chop abilities.
Every one of your songs engaged me harmonically too, an all too often neglected element in todays music. ("Where's the melody?", the jazz guys said in the '60s. Now I find myself saying, "Where's the harmony?")
I wonder if the marketing strategy for your "Digits" album will include a professional CD pressing (graphic art work too)? We'd need to stock up on a couple dozen and would be sure to announce and list it on our SE Website.
Everything pops out, transparent but boldly so. Congratulations, Emmett.

+1 to everything said. Took a break from Foxtrot to have a listen. Needless to say it was quite a while until I got back to Foxtrot Kingspeak was probably my favorite. I know it says "choose your price" but I don't want to be a cheap butthole on ya. If there's plans for a CD pressing or something I can wait for that. I always love a CD with all the goodies that come with it (The expectation of a package is fun too)

Very musical. Nice chops & nice tones. What model Stick and which pickup are you using if I might ask?

John, What a great ( as some smarmy industry people would say) Freshman outing! I love the consistency and the name of the album "Digits" with it's cool abstract almost Bas Relief graphic sums it up that "I played this album with these!" The production is stellar aided by your super clean playing, vision and terrific arrangement of these songs. My favorite is Collision from your earlier post! Glad to see it included. I wish you all the best, and Emmett directly endorsing you right here so we all can see it, you'll go far with sales in our family here. I agree with my learned other posters, that I hope you get Fair Market Value for your work here, because you deserve every BitCoin! Great strong work, and thank you for being a part of this wonderful family of ours, and sharing your talents! take care, and best of sales to you, Dave Brosky

I was only able to take a short listen, but it sounds GREAT! Will get back and check it out in it's entirety. Congratulations!
