"Footprints" Dave Brosky at Waynesburg U!
Thank you for all the kind PM's and e-mails ranging from that incredible Songstress/Stickist Dale LaDouceur from half way around the world to the inventive creative and humour filled Eraplanetearth and all parts in between requesting a video from my performance on Saturday night at Waynesburg University on 5/10/14.
It was an incredible celebration of that University's famous band from 1960 who is now in their second generation of players for a musical delight that traverses over 6 hours. Don't worry here is my 4 minutes in the Sun just like Pablo Cruise said to find!
I walked in an all 40 musicians said "he's here- it's the Stick player". I was welcomed like royalty by musicians that traveled from all over the US to play this. All the great Stick questions and some truly nice comments like "thank you, I've heard of them, but never got to see or hear one this close" So was I was in my Stick Ambassador swath al night and it was great to get the news out about Emmett's wonderful Instrument. The audience as you can tell loved it too!
Here is Avant Garde Free Jazz Saxophonist the reknown Lee Robinson and myself playing a jazz classic "Footprints" by Wayne Shorter. I was going direct to the PA from my pedal board split with an active Stewart direct box to a small Roland Cube 30 on stage. I hope you enjoy it.
