Post My first video - "Collision"
I posted the soundcloud link to a rough mix of this song a while back, so some of you may have already heard this, but here is my first video playing the chapman stick!

Nice song, very well played.

A suggestion for your video. It would be a lot better to get light in front of you instead of having it behind you (ceiling). It's fun to see what your fingers are doing ;)

I like this chord at 56" and I think it comes back at 2'21"...

Post Re: My first video - "Collision"
John,
Congratulations on a great first time out! Very nice tune, ebbs and flows and some very ( did I say very) very refreshing progressions and chord changes.

I not sure of the title, since I didn't HEAR any "Collisions", or clams, or gaffs or clinkers. and clearly no Skronks- the worst! (when the string is inadvertently [c'mon nobody does this for effect] pushed off the touch board raising it's pitch wildly plus getting a scraping noise hap hazardly rolling off and back onto the fretrails or rods as the case may be])

Very nice modern sound, and I agree with Greg, the classic Stick sound, some very nice sus4 chords, double stop harmonies, little R&B 4ths slides, make this a really listenable and marketable piece. I used to write for TAXI's elite unit, and you should submit this for some film scores.

kudos, and post more!
