Very nice. Looks fun to play.

As much as I'm enjoying the Stick Bass, there are times when I truly miss the inverted fifths side.

It's much easier when the string s overlap to arrange something like this, that's true. But I did find a nice tapped version on 6-string bass when I was working on mine:
