Post RUDOLPH THE RING MODULATED REINDEER!
This time of year, on this forum, there is a compulsion rising to the level of a new DSM V diagnosis, to post Holiday songs. The pressure, the fact you only play them once a year, which one, which one not to do that has been over done..... it goes on and on.

So, here's my entry this year! To misquote Queen as they wrote on so many of their early albums "No synthesizers were harmed in the making of this song" :D Actually it's all Stick and a Roland Dr. Groove. A little Sound Toys Devil Loc Deluxe on the bass side and ring modulation on the Melody side on the second part. Did the "Railboard without a Railboard" (Ha!) infinite tremelo note at the end that kept triggering the ring modulator "Sci Fi".

Moving that red nose into the 21st century!

Hope you like it, & Happy Holidays to all and the best in the New Year!
Dave Brosky

thanks Manny for the update for Soundcloud! - YU DAH BES!

Geek heaven! You get it all. The wide intervallic leaps, all harmoniously related via the modulator, and at supersonic 32nd note momentum, plus the hammered in Rudolph theme (couldn't miss it). A formula for an instrumental style (a career) - what a discovery. Thro in some soulful straight Stick intros and endings and you have a supersonic Christmas album (how hard would that be?).

A musical novelty, always a sensation. Enjoyed it, Emmett.
