It's funny. Every since I got into looping, I will frequently end a practice session by simply starting something and seeing where it goes. Sometimes if falls really flat but other times it just seems to morph into something wonderful and I'll frequently set my Stick down, close my eyes, and just listen for quite a while (sometimes driving my wife nuts ... especially when it's very late in the evening ).

At the end of most of those sessions, I just turned everything off and the moment was lost. Since going digital though, it's as easy as a single mouse click to start recording and catch it for later reference.
