Re: Check out this guy!
Jason is a wonderful player. He's a North Bay, Ontario guy. I met him at a seminar out in British Columbia back in 2001 and he's been to a handful of seminars in Michigan. When we had the outdoor Stick Festival in Ann Arbor in 2006, Jason was the most requested CD at our merch table. Unfortunately he didn't have one available at the time but his music made quite an impression.

Re: Check out this guy!
Such a nice combination of melodies. For some out of nowhere reason the song reminded me of a line from a Mary Oliver poem and I found it: ...she doesn’t dream she knows she is a part of the pond she lives in, the tall trees are her children, the birds that swim above her are tied to her by an unbreakable string... jRj

Indeed nice playing! I like his tasteful tempo implementation; never going cheesy, just varying a bit to create drama in the music.

Re: Check out this guy!
Kev, good catch! yes, Jason is a wonderful player- very lyrical and creates memorable melody lines and a super nice person to boot! Very dedicated. Glenn is right. Jason's "non-existent" CD *was the most requested at the table when we all performed at the 1st Annual Stickfest in Ann Arbor. His music is real soothing and almost Celtic in nature. I believe he was using a Boss looper on some of the songs, but very tastefully. hope to hear more from Jason, nice post Kev! Dave Brosky *Lesson- always have merch, but merch you are proud of. don't just put it out to have something on the table, for as someone very wise told me, "it will come back to bite you" and resurface. that being said, you are as good as you are today and your work will reflect that. so just record and burn something for your throngs of fans!
