Gene,
really really nice! you know you are treading on sacred ground- Greg loves to weave this piece (and I have see it done live many times) into so many different tunes and genres. It really surmounts them all and is timeless. Your arrangement and note placement is great!

So when you get to the pearly gates, is God going to say to you "G-ne, what's up with the dash?" :D

Brilliant moments as always nestled in here- my favs- 1:07 a Whoa- chord just popped at the upbeat of 4 at the end of the phrase and the double stops at 1:44. The overall acoustic finger PICKING, not fingersticking - did not see any thumb flying over from the melody to the bass side, was really enjoyable.

The whole tune was really listenable. I'd put it on the CD! ( you are making a CD out of all of these?- I hope so!) Another one of "Gene's Gems"!
thanks for the post,
Dave Brosky

Lovely stuff Gene, it's great how you've put your own stamp on it. I particularly liked the intensity of the outro.

Made me smile on my Friday morning yet again, Gene. And just when I thought you were done with us all ... the out-tro. FANTASTIC touch.
Thanks for all of it, Gene!

Great job and wonderful sound Mr. P.
7 weeks to go, then the world will shift off axis, or you are going to announce your new found love of the glockenspeil, who knows....

Again that was really nice man.

cheers,
k

If you were ready to tee off using a Norwegian Wood, would you shout "Fjour"?

Nicely done Gene. It seems the recording quality is getting clearer, or perhaps it's just the tone you selected on your "Stick-O-Matic" pickup for this piece.

Can't wait to see/hear what you do next!

Mike
