Nice video! Turned up the studio monitors for this, his new amp sounds pretty good too.
Thanks for sharing.

Andys record is great. You all need to buy it.
Bums me out that folks just idly walk by without taking a second look or listen to what cool things surround them. ...

Nice video, Andy! You seem to have a rather good busking sound with that amp. I heard more of the Stick than of the passing tram and that is a good sign Soon it will be warm enough here in Sweden too and I will start infecting public areas with SG-12 and Roland Street Cube. My economy here is just a catastrophe and I'm hoping for busking to bring in some extra dough with the pending tourist season.

Re: Andy Salvanos - busking in Melbourne
Thanks for the kind comments ("FAndy" ). The highlight of the day was catching up with Konrad and talking Stick. Busking in Melbourne was quite different to Adelaide, where I mainly work in a long pedestrian mall (without trams). By contrast, Melbourne busking is more "in your face", as it's a substantially bigger and busier city. It's a bit like comparing Portland to Los Angeles. I'm very happy with the AER amp, but I should point out that it sounds substantially better if it's tilted upward about 40-45 degrees. I usually carry a "wedge" with me for this purpose, but travelling light meant that some things got left behind this time. The amp does tend to sound slightly "boxy" to my ears if left flat on the ground - tilting it up improves bass response and coverage and "opens" up the highs a lot. Playing on the street is a lot of fun...everyone should give it a try! Cheers, Andy
