Re: Mad World
It's the weirdest thing, some power or just the right set of components. Specifically with artists, and i don't know if it is luck or persistence or that ten thousand hour thing, but it happens that something else starts to play, or sing, and that something is a "something" that everyone knows and can feel for what it is. It goes beyond the person and is 'what it's all about'. jRj

Re: Mad World
You make it look so easy Olivier. I really enjoy hearing / watching you sing and play Stick - it's a rare talent and you seem to be brimming over with it.
I especially appreciate the simplicity of these pieces. It feels like you have rewritten the track and truly made it your own - beautiful structure, phrasing and performance. Bravo.

Applaus! Nice to hear your great singing with a good sound! I wish all vocalists would care to sing like this, not just following a given melody with words but really delivering every single note with a personal twist.

Re: Mad World
Super nice job Olivier...and your son is really "with" you in this style. I know he likes to play something else but he's really open minded. Cool.
Superbe travail de vous deux...
