Naki is a french canadian guy who decided to contact a luthier to make this interesting instrument. It's called StickHarp...interesting...a combination of metal and nylon strings. There is also a third instrument (indian one) to give this instrument an india sound...you'll listen to it.

He's doing is presentation in french but I guess you can understand...music!!!

This is some interesting stuff to me "geek' that i am. It looks like he really used a Stick
to make his Stick harp (I hope the truss is okay).

If you watch the video but don't want to put up with the whole thing
just skip to point 9:00 on the video for what i think is his best part. I cant understand french
but the performance seems to be a demo of the instrument with short vignettes and a very enthusiastic (yet noisy) audience.

I kinda thought, well, it slices and dices, bakes bread and stirs your tea as he doesn't really play the Stick thing as a Stick but does everything else...

No small feat BTW to get those sympathetic harp strings to sound with that great bass note
vibration...
