Post While My "Chapman Stick" Gently Weeps
Hi All,
Bob is continuing his youtube videos showcasing his different techniques in both lesson and song demonstration format. Here's another that I think is just great, again the use of the right thumb

Great Song arrangement, Bob, complete with many voices and all of them expressive. Just when I thought there'd be no more room in your head for another contrapuntal line, I see your right thumb now getting independent. I don't remember your right thumb being active, except to strum. Must take some extra concentration to give it a voice, but amid all the moving parts, where do you find it?

Not weeping, Chapman.

There he is, still making it look effortless. Superhuman technique and cool arrangement, all the things we like about Bob.

We (Heartstrings) play some of the same festivals as Bob when he comes to Texas. We don't mean to get double-booked with him, but we go after a lot of the same big show as he does. We always make the best of it and get along great; there's usually plenty of success to go around.

I'll take the rare break from playing and check out Bob's booth and remember how he was the one who inspired me to go for it all. He comes over to our booth to check us out sometimes as well, at which time I look up and see him and choke horribly at whatever I'm playing
