hey all, here's a video from my recent solo set in Asheville, NC as featured artist during open mic at Sovereign Kava.
I love playing this room! In fact I play entire evening shows there from time to time, with different group iterations. But I still love playing their Wednesday open mic with an added bonus of a sweet high quality video via their YouTube livestream.



This video is a great example of my latest Live Looping rig setup, where I use the Akai Force for synth & finger-drum sounds, MicroKorg synth, microphone & Chapman Stick all going into the Headrush Looperboard.

That's the setup I've been using most often as my standard looping rig - but I'll occasionally switch things up by using the Akai Force's built-in sequencing/looping & effects - while MIDI-clock-syncing the Force with the Headrush Looperboard which would still have the Chapman Stick & main mic plugged in for looping.
