Howdy friends. Around the same time I started playing the Stick after I got my 10 string in 2015, I also started playing another somewhat unique instrument, the 8 string guitar. Though I've since found I far prefer 7 string guitars to 8 string variants (primarily due to better string spacing), I still love how much more just a single extra string allows for on the guitar. I've never really used my 7 string in any of my work up to this point, but the structure for this song like many of my others has been around for some time. Over the last year or so I decided it would be an entirely instrumental piece with a heavy emphasis on the guitar above all else, though there is still some Stick and lots of synth bass throughout.
