copied over from facebook..

Michael Johnstone ·Love it. Your music is about something BTW. What's your rig if I might inquire?

Thanks!. I am lucky enough to have one of the magic custom pickups that's a Stickup on the bass side , and the emg active (telecastery ?) pickup on the melody side. so that has a lot to do with the sound. i have a mod duo for the effects which has two separate signal paths , which is perfect for the stick IMHO. it then goes into a couple of acoustic image amps (one for each channel) which i've had for a long time and like a lot. they're set pretty clean/neutral so i don't think they are influencing the sound much in this setup

the mod duo 'pedal board' is an alembic stereo preamp simulator

then on the melody side: fender amp simulator, reverb , delay

on the bass side: the 'stuck' plugin on the bass side for the drone bits,
then some reverb and tremolo.

the mod duo is nice because you can control the input stage impedance, so i use the the 1MegOhm setting on the bass side, which keeps the stickup half of the frankenpickup sounding it's best.

When did you get it? Emmett should make that available. (Is it? StickEnt?)

It was quite a while ago. He doesn’t really make them anymore if I recall , and I can understand why as it involves surgery on a stickup block that’s probably a real pain to perform. he likely has a 1000 more pressing things in his queue :)

I recall some people making some 3D printed pickup modules for dual melody EMGs etc.. That would be a good way to go I suspect.

You could always make your own from a stickup I guess if you are brave

HaHa I have two playable Sticks and plenty of side projects before I go there...
