Post Long-Overdue Check-in with New Ambient Tune
Hey all,
Hope everyone's doing fine. I can only explain my long absence by saying that since turning 100% "musician-only" things have been pretty busy, although admittedly not as busy as I'd like. But I'm working hard to change that. :D
This was the summer I was going to get my Stick chops in working order, and because of how busy my band was, and all the behind-the-scenes work I had to do for it, it just didn't happen. However, I DID manage to write and record a couple of pieces, with my Railboard handling melody duties.
And, thanks to my best friends (who also happen to be pretty damned good musicians), my long-dormant collection of music for my long-overdue release is breathing again, and they will also feature Stick prominently.
I also got to record with (and subsequently join) a band called "Long Divide" ... the album is being mastered at Abbey Road studios and should be ready for release in a couple of months.

For now, here are a couple of the newest.

I enjoyed Popham Sundays. Crystalline sounds in the melody, very nice Luc. Good job!

You're all very kind, thank you. I can't really take credit for the Railboard tone in those pieces; it's just the sound of the pickup itself, no EQ, nothing except maybe a small touch of compression and a little reverb.
