Well, after 2 and 1/2 years of practicing, I finally played some live music in front of real live people lol! (see my post in "announcements"). I was able to record the one song my band plays that I started playing Stick on, "The Weight". Earlier in the evening I played "dinner music" on my Stick, but the video camera was not turned on properly, so no video. But, I decided to try and put this song on video today, and post it here. Gives an idea what I was up to when I played live. I only screwed up badly 2-3 times, and the worst gaff was a bad chord (I hit a D instead of a D#) towards the end of the video, otherwise it came off ok I think. Using a Roland VG-99 Virtual Guitar processor to emulate the banjo sound on the melody side. Anyway, for your entertainment...... |
