I'm working on a sequence of R X R345 3rd diad...

I'll get it a little better, (Lotsa work needed I know...) but I thought it was cool so I might share it. Amin7add11 to Fmaj7#11 Amin7add11 to G7add11 - A fun sequence with a percussive hit, and a 3rd as a chord stab (actual maj3, not a 10th) Getting better with it... Let's see what else y'all have been working on...

Nice! Just transcribed the bass line to Hit Me Baby One More Time yesterday, that's probably my favorite one I've worked on this week.

One of modern musics best bass lines! Look forward to hearing it.

Lol I was in a Britney Spears cover band years ago, we did shred versions of her tunes, it was really fun! I was thinking of putting that one together for Stick, too...

Anyways, thanks for checking my riff out, guys! Lots of work to be done to be sure...

That's nice composition, Scott. It sounds like a Yes transition line turned into a main riff with multiple chord choices over the top to change the relative meaning.

To answer the actual question, I worked a touch on an original rock bass line with extended chords and strains between 4ths and 3rds in the melody, but nothing so complex.

Thanks, man! It's just a starting point, but man... you mentioned my riff and compared it with Yes, why you just made my day! Cool!

I'd like to get to a point where I can do little chord stabs with the LH on the bass side like that and more fully imply the chord progression, nothing says "Aminor" like an A and a C played together... hahaha Also, incorporating my own "metronome", that is a percussive hit here and there as part of the riff that outlines the changes is important to me to develop also; I'm working a lot on that sort of thing!

Thanks again for checking it out, fellas...
