Post YEAH!!! Another Bach "Minuet in G" thread!
lol As part of my ongoing quest to annoy my fellow Stickists with my poorly played and shoddily-read down "stick-tune-a-day" thing this week, here's Bach's Minuet in G. I've been reading this one down for a little while now, so I'm a bit better at it. Plus, I've attempted it in pretty much every Stick tuning I tried... I know, they should really be tunes that I haven't tried or looked at before, but what the heck, it doesn't really sound much better. Again, just part of my daily practice, I hit 'record' and then post. And yes, I am well aware that there are all kinds of things that need some work in regards to my execution, phrasing, dynamics, etc. I'll get to that stuff later, I just thought I'd share a moment or two of my practicing this week...

Waitasec? What about "Monday" you say? WHERE is the Monday song? meh. I took Monday off, I was busy working on a music "thang". The good news is that I posted one on Friday, one on Saturday, and three on Sunday! CRAZINESS! So in my mind, it makes up for the Monday holiday (Scottulus day).

There might just be something to this "sight-reading" idea...

Anyways, have a good one, guys.

"One song a day"? Wow, go get 'em, Scott!

The Bach is sounding great. yeah, you can fancify it up with some trills and flourishes, but it's kicking ass at a decent clip. Well done!

I need to get caught up on all the tunes you've done this week. Keep rocking them out!

Wow. Sounds really good to me! And Very clean also: not something you should say is anything less than a good take on the song! Hint: exept maybe for the last trill, the other ones don't really pose any difficulty increase: they are all on the right hand and whenever there's one, the left hand is just sitting around, doing nothing. Might as well do them if you like them ;) anyway U ROCK! All the time! In every single one of those songs! You laid out your own path and you are traveling relentlessly in it. That's something to be proud of :)
