I'm going to try something a little different moving forward. My release schedule on Tap Theory will remain the same, but since Tap Theory relies heavily on YouTube viewership I'll now be releasing all of the instructional and performance videos to the public, one per week.
This week's Tap Theory is on a cool pentatonic scale concept I've been using for a while that I call "wall method." I taught this back at the 2014 NE Stick Seminar and have had a few years to let it gestate and develop further. I find it's a great concept to help you visualize your scale forms, come up with interesting chord extensions and make really cool lines for compositions and improvisations. As always, there are exercises and much more at http://www.patreon.com/jgoldbergmusic. Enjoy!
