Wow. Wow. Wow. You my friend have a natural feel for this instrument you don't often see. I'm certain you play other instruments just as well.

Actually it's the fastest, easiest way for me to learn something new on the instrument. I break the movement down into the simplest part, close my eyes because it's the only way to keep track of both hands and repeat to infinity, speeding up gradually. Funny thing, once it's learned, if I look I kind of mess it up! Go figure! Lol

Fabulous piece of music, Rodrigo! You're right. Closing the eyes allows us to get a much more accurate vision of the fretboard and the hands on it. This internal visualisation frees up brain resources and mutes external distractions (people, lights, a.s.o).

It comes also very handy when you're singing because you MUST be in front of the microphone, which means you can't look at your fretboard too much.

Closing your eyes actually opens your potential. ;-)

Beautiful piece of music and very well executed in time feel emotion vibe. I get it. Closing the eyes lets the mind work it's mysterious ways. Did I say beautiful?

Thank you all! It's been an amazing journey with this instrument! For this particular song I have to say the idea came from meeting an Israeli bass player last week that got me thinking about Arab music. he's quite an expert on it.. Isn't this a beautiful world? Music bringing people together :)

Yep, the guy received a Railboard, and a month later blew us away with an awesome Bach piece. Rodrigo rules!
