This is awesome, such an insane level of musicianship. Great job Brett, this is the kind of thing that you can transcribe and study and learn from.

To my ear, Brett is one of THE most potent voices on the instrument today, particularly playing Jazz standards... His phrasing, fluidity and dexterity is amazing! Just listen to how swinging his walking bass lines are... Seemless! Also, He has TONE for days.... Really a player to aspire too. Thanks for this... now, off to practice!!

Does anyone else just want to throw their Stick off the side of a mountain after watching Brett play?!

This was fantastic. The duo is at ease and just locked. So enjoyable. Thank you so much for capturing the moment, good job Brett and Garrett! :D

I feel like a dead parrot after watching this ("E's not dead e's just stunned.")

Wow! Everything comes together in this performance - clarity, line, rhythm, variation, freedom of melodic invention. It's just... damn.

I'd pay good money for a transcription, and then try to read it...

What tuning is Brett using?

And was that an SWR SM400 bass amp in that rack?
