Yeah Boaz.
Nice presentation. One thing if I may, the crab is moving well but the bird needs to" fly" more.
Try taking your hand on and off the touch board an develop that confidence that you know just where you want to land, in terms of note choices. I still do it, leaving the right hand there so I don't play a wrong note.
You might consider practicing this through more interdependence practice. Really slow things down and pay attention to where the notes occur in unison and when they are in between. Taking this time you can bring your hand on and off the touch board confidently.
You sound confident and it feels like you're always enjoying the music. Thanks for sharing.

Boaz, this is really great! Composition, the playing... stylistically it reminded me a lot of Chris Issac. very haunting and soulful!

Re: Mad Stick
Hi Boaz. I have heard a few Stickists play this song. First, I would like to say, nice job! The speed at which the chords change can keep one's attention focused too much on the bass side while playing Mad World. I would say you have the bass down and can freely concentrate on the melody. As you play the song going forward, I think it might be fun to hear you play some chords in the melody side while changing it up in the bass. And what my ears want to hear most here, after the spot on arrangement of the chord progression you have represented, is repeated notes in the melody. Not always an easy thing, but it often sounds more like the way a human voice sings.
Really nice post!

Watched this through a couple of times - magnificent! Loved the swirling sounds and the light show! The drum buddy works in this pop application, I expect you may have been altering some patterns on DB with the foot control?
The performance was very solid. I'm hoping for that final chorus fade or riffing over the chorus or some sort of variation that takes me out of the 2 choruses I previously heard. Does that make sense?
Have we done a song learn on this one? We need to get you, Kevin and maybe David Tipton together to talk through this song. Oh man! Who's up for song learn in 2017!?

I believe Scott Kerr also took a swipe at Mad World recently.
