Count me in, Scott! This sounds like a great idea. If you want any help mixing or mastering, my friend and guitar player for Liquid Nixon is one of the best(around Erie, anyway) and though I haven't asked him yet, he might be willing to take a crack at it.

OOO! Excellent! This keeps getting better, and better. I am very excited... I would take any help I could get, even if it's just a second set of ears. I really want this project to be about Stickist musicians and a showcases of how all of the differences everyone has still works together on one big, crazy piece. lol Might be a 20 minute opus hahaha

Do it. Send me some stuff. Do it. jayesskerr@gmail.com

So far, so good. Two submissions not including me, and they sound AWESOME... Thanks so much, this is going to be quite excellent! Keep 'em coming guys! And don't forget that although the pool of notes that we are using is Gmajor/Eminor really all that means is playing a key signature with 1 sharp. Plus, the door is open to stretch things a bit harmonically of course! Some reference if you are unsure;

Gmajor Scale over a;

B min7 chord = B Phrygian sound
C maj7 chord = C Lydian sound
D7 chord = D Mixolydian sound
Emin7 chord = E Aoelian (E relative minor sound)
F#min7b5 chord = F# Locrian Sound
G major7 chord = G Ionian (Relative Major Sound)
A minor7 = A Dorian sound

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Thank you good doctor! This gets cooler by the day! The submissions I have received thus far are really excellent. So far, so good. I want more, though.

Wanna do a vocal thing? Do it. Just have. Riff? That's fine. A weird ambient bit? Awesome. Just wanna play drums? Fine, that's cool.

But, send it to me jayesskerr@gmail.com

Just a friendly reminder that participating in this will be cool, very cool. And not just the people involved. Imagine a single track that not only sounds cool, but also showcases the instrument's many possibilities... Make a thing up, and send it to me. Easy as that. BUT I have included 5 reasons to join in the musical merriment, (as if they weren't obvious!).

1) You will re-impress your girlfriend/wife with your awesomeness.
2) All that hair that fell out? It will grow back if you submit a track for this...
3) The resulting music created will fix that hole in the ozone layer.
4) Guaranteed bajillion dollar record deal upon completion.
5) It will be part of what brings back 'Firefly'.

C'mon, do it.

If you send a groove to me I'll add something to it. The groove will determine what I send you.
