Post An etude on the sustain technique
The sustained, pseudo-harp/guitar hybrid sound one can get from the Stick is something I've been interested in since I started playing the instrument. Recently I've found myself re-examining the technique in depth. This etude is one of those examinations.

I made tabs too, hope you enjoy it!

Very cool indeed, really nice sounding chords!

In classic tuning, melody side notation should be two frets to other direction (starting from 6th fret, not 10th) :geek:

Thx for posting, keep 'em coming!

Great stuff, Josh! And great piece in general, and a good piece to illustrate that sustain.

Thanks guys!

kallesillanpaa - You're right, I meant to say Standard tuning but for some reason always get those two mixed up. Just updated it with a slight correction in the tabs as well.
