I really like when versions (like this one) are so different from the originals. Congratulations.

hahaha Awesome! Dammit, I love your posts, dude! One of my favourite songs from an extremely cool band (Eurythmics) And hey, if it's good enough for Marilyn Manson...

I remember when that tune came out. (I WANT MY MTV!) Annie Lennox has done some fine stuff since then. Great version, Great Playing! When your son came in w/ the harmony, I was like, "Whoa". (I wish I could sing).

Olivier, I love your covers and originals but this cover was particularly well done. Very much a different feel and arrangement, and of course, the vocals are not Annie Lennox, but your vocals always rock! Loved this; thanks!

Thanks fo the good words. Sweet dreams is fairly simple and it took me ages to find a simple way to twist it around for the stick. We'll probably play it live for the first time tomorrow at the irish pub. (Stage fright already creepin'...)

Nice! That was fun. Cool arrangement.
I would love to see it when you guys have had a chance to play it out a few times and you are both really comfortable with it. Then it would be easy to see you really enjoying yourselves.
Bravo!
:)

You're right Luc, we still look like having a broom stuck somewhere ;)

This was actually shot at the second rehearsal after learning the song. We had played it maybe 3 times right. :D

A great song! Nicely done. Apparently Lennox wrote this in the back of a cab to the studio!

Captain Strings said, "the secret is that the hands are not doing 2 different things - they are doing one big interlocking thing". You can hear in this song *3* interlocking things - the offbeat lilt in Lennox's vocals being the third.

Nice work.
