Post 80HD a song
I recorded 2 videos today. The first one is an original composition. The second one I might put up later. I just had everything rolling so I figured let's try some Stevie Wonder. Enjoy!

Nice recording, played with a lot of feeling and a soft touch. I really like the tone.

I really enjoyed this tune and your playing. I also thought 80HD (ADHD) was a clever song title. Thanks for sharing!

I've recently gotten into the actv-2. I purchased a used 10 string with emgs a couple years ago, only to have it sit in the closet in favour of my Grand with pasv-4. Now the grand is in the closet. Seriously considering switching out the passive for active.

Very melodic and you know how to transfer melodies between both hands...very nice job.

Nicely done. Great tone, nice timing and much improved tuning. Also liked the pacing: lots of space. One of your best.

Cheers.

Thanks everyone. I do enjoy the sound of the actv-2 and when combined with the sp-13 I can always find the sweet spot. I've found it to be a reliable combo. Had to kill the compression in my mix because i found it to be a liability when going from soft to aggressive. Or, I'm just not smart enough to use it right.

The next video I put up is from the same session. This time I'll take out the effects and just allow the pickups and the preamp to come through. I think that will be a better representation of the combo.

To be honest I totally forgot to tune first. this was just a kind of plug and play, one take, kinda night. :P

Thanks for listening everybody!
