Amazing! Your left hand was everywhere without missing a note or a beat. Thanks so much for sharing that!

For those keeping score, this is a famous Coltrane harmonic obstacle course separating the men from the boys. Brett has done a splendid job navigating through all the changes.
G Eb and B keys changing in wacky rhythmic locations as well.
BTW. ..the key centers form their own augmented triad.
Baby steps will get yiu to Giant Steps

Yes Steve is right and there are books written on how to blow over giant steps, scales arpeggios, Coltrane quatals, Dorian whole step and a lifetime of possibilities, fun stuff.

The purity of the song, the composer, of Brett's honest execution purely done on a Stick. A man on fire, working off pure oxygen.

Seamless melody with bass lines in improvised counterpoint over distant chord changes - the impossible made manifest.

Please don't derail my 'Trane of thought, Emmett.

I will be making a series of instructional videos based upon some of my approaches. The first in the series should be made over my winter break. Not pro production level just sharing some concepts. More on this soon.
