Finding Home - a new tune from Greg
Hi everyone,
Here's a new tune I've been playing lately. Still refining the arrangement, but I thought I'd put it out there and see if it's working. It's called "Finding Home".
I've fallen in love with the Lexicon reverb emulation on the Universal Audio interface (obviously). I basically wrote the tune on the Railboard playing through this effect...so to me it was integral to the composition process.

Excellent Greg! Sometimes an effect can become, or aid in the impetus of a tune eh?
I've noticed lately too, that when guys play their Railboards, under certain conditions of light...the rails disappear....looks kinda cool!
Anyways man, lovely tune....thx for sharing.
cheers, k

Re: Finding Home - a new tune from Greg
I really enjoyed this tune when you played it at the recent Stick Night - great video!
You make it look like a more "simple" tune, but things like the slightly overlapping melody notes and accompaniment pattern (which sounds almost like you're playing open strings since the notes are so well sustained) aren't trivial techniques and really add a lot to the piece.
