Speaking of odd rhythms, Boucarel is in fact a 3/4 (so not a so strange rhythm).
By Odd I mean any time signature that is not divisible by 4. Also waltzes.
I hear you about the ascetic aspect. Maybe we will add some player sometimes (I would love a Fender Rhodes, a trumpet or a singer), but experience tells me that the more you are in a band, the more difficult is to maintain a good atmosphere and a consensus about the artistic direction, so I'm not in a hurry
I know what you mean. For years I have been unable to reach a consensus in my one-person band. No matter what shape yours band ultimately takes, I keep my fingers crossed.

Damn! Grozeil, this is so good.
It flows in such a real way and you two play so well together. There's so much music between you as a duo. I was looking for the Bandcamp link to buy it, straight up, so if you can release it on BC I'll be there. It's pretty much the only platform I use.
Thanks for the inspiration and your contribution. I feel it's already made an impact and added so much to this community, as it happens when any great album drops.
Heaps of Luv.

Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I will definitely think about BC. I'm quite busy the next week with another very exciting project right now, but may put the tunes online in BC in two weeks (maybe I should open a new topic about as well). The drummer Nils Oswald is the best person musically speaking I met for years. He's very caring, and so skillfull, more than I will ever be! Check out his website : http://www.nilsoswald.com

grozoeil wrote: Yes, indeed, I listened to Bill Frisell a lot years ago He's a master at what he's doing, and his use of effects had a great impact on me. On a side note, I discovered a few years ago another guitar player very close in style, Jakob Bro. I love his works. It sounds great Bruno - congratulations on capturing a beautiful recording. I am half through the first track and loving it. Loving that warm micro-tone glow on the melody side. Full of life and intrigue - looking forward to hearing this next track.

Beautiful...I love original music. We don't have any reference with compositions and that's the part I like the most. So, we can listen to your soul...just love it. Félicitations...Congrats.
