Malcolm Gladwell.........Outliers
For you readers out there, Malcolm Gladwells book, Outliers is a great read. Particularly his chapter called the "10,000 hour rule" which states to achieve true mastery in any subject or pursuit you must put in 10,000 hours.
Anyway I just finished the book and thought I would try and push it on the rest of you. Do yourselves a favour and pick it up.
cheers, kev

Re: Malcolm Gladwell.........Outliers
Interesting. I've never read it. However, I am always highly critical of simplified explanations of human behaviors. From some of the reviews, it seems that he may have overreached in some of his conclusions.
I will try to read it this year and give you an informed impression.

Brett, you need to read the book for 10.000 hours.

Re: Malcolm Gladwell.........Outliers
Geddy Lee quotes this when asked how he plays bass, foot pedals and sings at the same time. It is a fantastic read - I am a believer.
