For those of u who want to learn Cavatina, here's another video of him playing with Santana (I posted a different vid a few weeks ago).

There's an extended intro of him playing bass solos at the beginning....then, he switches to stick (8:08)....the crowd roars...

There are close-ups of the fretboard, where you can see the actual chord progressions. Enjoy!

I actually play the original arrangement for this and I prefer it on the stick than on guitar... the sustain is longer so the melody rings out clearer. Probably should make a video and put my money where my mouth is :o

:o WOW!!!! I didn't know this was out there! Wonderful. Al Stick looks like a late 80's/early 90s polycarb judging by the headstock. Can't tell if it has the 3D bridge or not. I have a '91.
