Re: Rest in Peace.
My brother texted me with this sad news. Got to talking about our favorite Jeff Beck albums. I realized that I have "Truth," "Beck-Ola," "Jeff Beck Group," "Blow by Blow," "There & Back," "Jeff," "Who Else?" and "Emotion & Commotion" in my collection.
I love all the material on all of them, but I have to say his work on "Blow by Blow" and "There & Back" has to be my favorite. So fortunate to have seen him live just 4 or 5 years ago.

I like Greg's version better.
Very kind of you to say (and thanks for the embedding). Beck's version was what inspired me to play it. I didn't hear a Mingus version until a few years later. Great tune.
Greg, I strive to play Goodbye Porkpie Hat, as well as you. I use Avidemux to break the tune down into smaller clips to learn from. https://avidemux.sourceforge.net/
Another of my favorites is Porz Goret played by Japhlet Bire Attias.
