Just by way of comment its 2 weeks , 1 day and 12 hours ( but who is counting )since I last saw my sticks, which is unusual.
They gave me a new ship. bogged down in learning and bureaucracy and procedures and more procedures and more audits, a short trip so I left it home. Going to sea used to involve exotic places, beer and questionable women, who you best didnt question. Anyway, back to the point, I have spent a little time writing down plans , thinking about new pieces and kind of visualising how they might be played. Thinking also about the performance aspects of all those open mic nights so all was not lost. In fact it might be a healthy change in some ways, since I just have to roll with it and I can tell myself that. Home tomorrow though so I am looking forward to plugging in and turning up loud after the dog finishes saying hello which takes about 10 minutes, since everyone else is at school or work
Also hoping the Spanish contingent are visualising another StickCamp!
