RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,R=301,NE]
Or another one: Code: RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off

Re: Have to login every visit Purely in the pursuit of excellence I feel it incumbent upon me to point out that there's something fishy going on with the favicon.ico - perhaps because it's pointing to http: and not https:? <LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="http://stickist.com/favicon.ico"> You could probably remove the http:// stuff anyway and just use something like: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico"/> However, it REALLY doesn't matter!

or even:
