What's the story about the little pig building a house of straw?

Hmmmm...

I wrote all my Congressional Representatives and Senators (and even the Obama campaign) to NOT support the bailout legislation. My local reps (Grijalva D, Giffords D) in the House voted as I wished.

...meanwhile Bush and Paulson stand outside the house and holler about huffing and puffing and blowing...

You know guys, we live in some really scary times. I wonder everyday how I can function in this society as an artist and a thinking person when stuff like this happens, I really hope it gets better.

I think any economic position the country is in, means business, employees and the self employed (artists) have to adapt to survive. I always have a small solo show. Central Florida has a large amount of conventions needing entertainment. In previous hard economic times I've done well being a cost effective alternative to buyers seeking live entertainment who don't have the heart to completely cut it. I've already seen a small increase booking gigs this season.

Small show = cost effective

Yep.
Except we stickists, as well as musicians and the less affluent everywhere, have been adapting to survive for thousands of years. Its about time affluent caucasians start having to cut things and buy the cheaper version. But this is where I leave it, cause this is a stick forum.

Quoting Japhlet: "Its about time affluent caucasians start having to cut things and buy the cheaper version."

Caucasians also work for a living. Racist asshole.

Being a caucasian myself and being acquainted with Japhlet, I'll have to offer that Perry is not only reactionary, but wrong. I'll bet the farm that Japhlet can play circles around Perry (just a hunch).

Sorry Dub...If you'd done some research you wouldn't have posted that. There's been tons of my Stick music out for years and it's easy to find if you look. I've never compared my music to anyone elses' as comparison is a waste of time. But I have heard Japhlets music. I've heard lots of different Stickists and wouldn't dare to compare but if you're so inclined go ahead and waste some more time.
Yes I am reactionary. So? You must be very superior. Thank you for pointing out my faults.
