Post AZUL w/Rob Martino: Jammin' Java (near DC.12/8) tix avail!
Hi everyone,

This is just a preliminary announcement, but I wanted to get it out there as soon the show was confirmed.

AZUL (John D'earth, Brian Caputo, Greg Howard) and Rob Martino will be performing at Jammin Java in Vienna, Virginia (just outside D.C.) on Sunday, December 8. Doors at 6, and Rob will kick things off at 7:00.

This is a great listening space, ad I am super psyched to be performing there, and to hearing Rob again as well.

There will also be a Stick event earlier in the day (more details soon), so hold the date!

I'll let you know as soon as there is an advance ticket link.

Jammin' Java is one of the best music venues anywhere, for both performers and the audience, thanks Greg for the chance to be a part of this! It will be great to hear you guys again.

That will be a great show. Will there be an AZUL meets Martino set? One Cloud live played cover to cover with AZUL in support?
:D

I think my head would explode if I tried to do something with AZUL, that's the improvisational big leagues. :) In fact it makes me realize the two sets will be polar opposites in a way - every note of the One Cloud album (and most of my music in general) is highly composed and agonized over ahead of time, while nothing is planned in advance with AZUL, pure musical spontaneity!

I had sworn off this site until my guitar work was finished, but a random visit to the SE site notified me of this event.

There is little reason to believe I will actually make it there, but I hope to partake in the Stick Expo before I have to race the sun to get home (my "chauffeur" does not see well at night). This seems to be my last chance to get my hands on an SG12 before I place my order next year.
