Nice one! That song will come out great when you get the details to follow right. Someone should do a second backing voice here and there, maybe you can even sing triads?

There. A pic. ;) Dan Reed did a solo gig on the festival after our gig. Acoustic guitar and vox.

I´ve not heard him in a long time but SHIT, he´s good live!! In all aspects. I can´t describe how he impressed me both as a person and as an artist. I know his bass player. He is from Sweden. And also plays Stick actually. I think he is a member here too but not a very frequent writer. GREAT guy as well. I´m jealous that Bengan gets to play with him. Dan Reed impressed the shit out of me!

Cheers//Jan

Right on Alain, would love to hear some cello! I think the pairing of cello and Stick is one of my favorites.

First I put a video but it wasn't good at all. I made it about a year and a half ago...well...I decided to throw it to the garbage...like it was before I put it here. Better this way. I'll do another one later with a better stick track and the same on my cello playing.

Good day

Here is a video with the stick (I'm not a good player on this...not yet...lol)...and a bit of electric cello. I was living in DR when I did it. I consider myself as a beginner on both instruments. I use a looper for the stick.

@ Gene and Per...

I finally tried something different this morning with a combination of my Stick, Korg M3R and my cello. I'm really an amateur of these 3 instruments but I like to touch them. My main instruments are guitar and bass. Well...I'm almost a retired musician and I like to explore on something else...nothing to prove here...just fun...

Thanks for listening...

Hey, Alain - I like the mood you're creating there! And the cello sounds really good, is that an acoustic cello?

Yeap...this one is an acoustic one. The other one was electric and it's not the same. To record something I prefer the acoustic but to play live the electric one is amazing...especially if you play with a drummer and a bassman. With an acoustic ambiance the acoustic cello is fine to play live...but still...with a good microphone, etc...

Thanks for your comment...

Jan..!

Great to meet you on this here thing.

The first track is so open, natural and beautiful, like any good piece of music can be. Your sound just invites the listener in, honest and
pure. The lady has a great voice to, something you can listen to all day.

Congrats on your next wave of wonderful playing stuff.
