Post 2013 Interlochen Stick Workshop
Hi all,

Well it is my pleasure to now formally announce the 2013 Interlochen Stick Workshop in Interlochen, Michigan. The workshop will take place Thursday to Saturday, July 11-13 with instruction from Bob Culbertson and Steve Adelson. Along with the workshop sessions, there will be a faculty performance and a student recital. Hopefully we'll be able to get that beach fire I've been promising since 2009 as well.

To find out more about the workshop visit the website at http://www.121normal.com/resources/events/seminar2013

Tuition will be $375. Registration details are not yet available but should be soon.

Any new information yet? Or maybe a more current link? This sounds exciting and I noticed there were alternatives for families to do in the area. But no way to see registering info.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks, Mike

The school have not linked up their page yet which means they haven't opened registration yet either. I will ping them today and see if I can get an ETA on registration.

I have my new stick coming from Emmett's workbench, I booked a campsite at the state park, and I am looking forward to attending the workshops. Oh by the way I never played the Stick before but have been playing guitar and upright bass so I will try to catch on.

I forgot to ask is the workshop gonna include beginners too? I'll be about a 6 month veteran by the time Interlochen arrives. Should have some chording down by then...I hope...

Going to a Stick seminar is one of the best things a new Stick player can do! You will get off to a great start with two of the best Stick teachers and players. Bad habits can be avoided and they will set you on the right path. It's also great to meet other Stick players and to see some masters play up close. I can't recommend this enough!
