Re: DAVE BROSKY in concert w/ TOM G and BERT LAMS
TOMORROW!!!! or today if you read this 2 hours from now is our concert, Stick 2 It! with Bert and Tom G at the Stick Friendly Cefalos.
I am really excited and just talked with Tom. The tour is going great and the kickstarter program really worked.
Gene, and Mr. Tipton, thanks for the kind words! Gene I tried to get some pro video there, but my buddy is knee deep in a project. but you never know when a Flip camera might accidentally get turned on! Emmett thanks for the shout out too! Yes, it was a church.
if you are in the Greater Pittsburgh Area or new SouthWest PA, it is a real easy venue to find off the major Parkway leading from the Airport to Downtown.
I am looking forward to seeing Bert and Tom again as always and hearing the new material. Mike and I are going all original for this gig with some new material of our own.
Please come out and support some really great live music, hope to see you "out there" as Tom will say, Dave Brosky

Re: DAVE BROSKY in concert w/ TOM G and BERT LAMS
Michael- I am going to have you wish me well more often, because we had a GREAT SHOW!
Gene, ( 21 and counting wow) there were some upraised arms with iPhones, so you never know if video is going to surface. Tom and I talked about it, but the day was going so hectic, we didn't want to put more on the plate than there already was.
Stick 2 It! with the incredible Mike Clancy joining me on keyless flute, flute, processed soprano sax and Tenor Sax, blew threw an all original set featuring celtic, latin, progressive and in your face funk! We were very well received and got a real boost for the direction on our album.
Tom and Bert were absolutely excellent. Their songs are so well crafted and professionally executed that the they each take you on a different listening experience and truly capture the concept of the new album. Bert and Tom both threw in some crowd pleasers from Bach from the album Nascent and Tom's seminal " Waking the Day". Plus they are absolutely nice guys and did a very personable meet and greet afterwards. The natural acoustics at Cefalo's and Lenny being so supportive of live music and especially the Stick rounded out the perfect listening experience. You can NOT come away from one of their concerts without being postiively moved. Their music and partnership is that powerful.
So, if you are near C'Ville, you need to get to the show. Plus, you get the added bonus of Greg and all the sonic explorations anticipated by Emmett's comments.
thanks for all the kind words and support, Dave Brosky
