Greg's residency and concert at Berklee in Boston: Nov 28-30
Hi everyone, I'll be teaching a three-day residency program at the Berklee College of Music at the end of this month, primarily through their Electronic Production and Design Department, but with courses for Berklee students in other disciplines as well. The residency will culminate with a concert on Friday, Nov 30 at 7 PM in the intimate recital hall of room 112 at 22 The Fenway. This concert is free and open to the general public, and I will be joined by guest musicians form the department.. http://www.berklee.edu/studentlife/map.htmlMore details as the event gets closer, I hope to see some of you there. It's been too long since I performed in Boston (last time was 10 years ago with the Greg Howard Band!)

Great achievement Greg! It also seems to be a positive thing for Berklee... several years ago I inquired about being a student there with the Stick and they were very close-minded about it. Perhaps things are changing with time!

I've gotten a very enthusiastic response from the faculty, and I'm looking forward to presenting the instrument in a number of different contexts. I hope some of you in the area can make the concert. The sound system in the hall is amazing.

Your invitation to participate in the educational process at Berklee is a rarefied honor Greg. If I had the economic wherewithal to be a patron of the arts I would commission you to write and perform the score of a High Mass. I would like to see you meet the challenge of explaining/interpreting the mystical, Spiritual aspect of worship in the language of music. I think you'd be up to it in the manner of a new voice.

Thanks for the kind wishes, Walter, I'm indeed very happy at the opportunity. Keep playing the lottery, I'd love to score the Mass, though I doubt I'd do as well as Bernstein did...
