Happy New Year everyone! The Official "Electronic Jazz Ensemble" (EJE) Website launched at at the stroke of midnight on New Years Eve. This Site features sample music, some amazing videos and some great photos of us on stage and in the studio. Hi everyone. Thanks for your comments and sorry for the slow reply. Lets see.. I use the standard 10 string tuning and my main instrument is retrofitted with and EMG block. I started using EMG pickups years ago on bass guitars and I love their tone and punch. The standard tuning works for me. Its great on the bass side because you can grab a one handed chord that would take 2 hands to play on piano, plus I can still get decent low notes on the melody side before my hands collide.
