Wow, what a nice guy you are. Wish I had an ipad/phone! Oh well. So does the iphone/pad actually have a decent mic? or are ya going direct in? Is the sound quality pretty good, or do you just use it for viewing scales/chords and tuning?

Well, the iPhone has a nice microphone which can easily be utilized to tune your instrument (if you have proper software like the Peterson tuner I recommend). FretBoard is only used to view and listen to chords and scales. There is no "Line In ananytics feature" which might be pretty interesting, though...
