Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting these. I listened to them all, and I like Penny Land the best. I think you[ve got some great movement in your left hand, very much in the pocket.

On he last track, I was looking for more voice leading in the bass chords. I kept saying in my head, "you know, Steve, if you just played the 5th-3rd-root inversion of that 4 chord it might have a better flow..," and then you started putting in all those passing tones on In my Life, and therre was the flow I was looking for.

Great idea to pair those two tunes together. Maybe you could just play root 1/8 notes on the first one before going into the chords for the second one to differentiate a bit.

Great to hear how your playing is developing.

Thanks Greg! That means a lot! I feel like it's slowly starting to come together and it amazes me just how much quicker it does flow when playing with others! I also find the concepts, methods and ideas that we have gone over are also starting to flow! I agree Greg I like Penny Lane the best too! In fact it blew me away how playing with this drummer (Darrell) I went to places I would have never went with the arrangement simply because he was there having a musical conversation we me. Another thing that I am trying to strive for is musicality (Thanks Sean!) in every piece we play, and along these lines I will give the 1/8 voicing on my left hand a try on With Or Without You! Stay tuned, Darrell and I are only warming up!

Thanks again!

It is pleasing to see how far you've come in the years you've been playing Stick and a part of this Stickist community. Good work.

Hi Steve - Musicality and conversation is what it's all about! Penny Lane is definitely a winner.
It'll be nice to see how that develops. You should try Love Me Do & I Feel Fine with that combination - should really cook along :D Maybe even Hard Days Night. Have fun.
